Garden Teams
Sign up to volunteer on a garden team. Garden teams are a fun way for members to complete volunteer hours, build skills, and maintain communal spaces.
Individual Tasks
Below is a list of current tasks that need to be completed in the garden. Thank you for keeping the Dale Street Community Garden beautiful!
Remove vines and other debris from garden fences, remove piles of plant debris in the garden to City waste bins, weed and water common areas, and cleaning and organizing the garden shed.
Common areas include: perennial border garden beds along the perimeter of the fences, center memorial pollinator garden bed, four large communal beds, maintenance of vines on the pergola, weed control around the shed and compost bin system, garden aisles, and pathways.
Activities and service performed on behalf of the Garden Board may be counted toward the volunteer hour requirement.
